IRVINE, Calif. — March 28, 2023 — Allied Universal®, a leading security and facility services provider, today announced that two of its Human Resources executives, Kelly Dunmore and Marina Santos, are included in the Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) 2023 list of Distinguished Leaders in Human Resources. With 800,000 team members around the globe, Allied Universal is the third-largest employer in North America and the world’s seventh largest private employer.

As Allied Universal’s Senior Vice President of Global Compensation and Benefits, Kelly Dunmore oversees a unique and complex benefit structure that allows for multiple plans tailored to specific client requirements, union collective bargaining agreements, company policy and regulatory compliance. As Allied Universal has grown in the last two years through nearly two dozen acquisitions, Dunmore is a key player in ensuring employees of acquired businesses have a seamless benefits and pay experience.

As Allied Universal’s Vice President of Recruiting, Marina Santos leads a team of 100 directors, managers and recruiters responsible for hiring 1,900 new employees every week. Santos is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process across the western United States, including developing strategies to increase the talent pipeline; driving efficiency and process improvements to meet hiring needs; and creating custom solutions for clients. Her leadership has helped recruiting efforts remain effective during highly challenging periods.

“Kelly is a talented contributor and a key HR leader who drives changes that have led to substantial process improvements and positive financial outcomes. She inspires her team to perform at their best and recognizes them for their contributions,” said Don Tefft, Allied Universal’s global chief human resources officer. “Marina’s contributions go beyond the recruitment process. She is highly engaged with the company’s Employer of Choice, Diversity and Inclusion, and Rewards and Recognition committees. Her involvement in these key corporate initiatives continue to have a substantial impact on our employee engagement activities.”

OCBJ’s annual list of Distinguished Leaders recognizes HR professionals serving in senior leadership roles who demonstrate a positive impact on the Orange County community.
